The Dynamic Duo
This was a fun one testing my skill with a new manual milling machine. Carefully slotting the inlays and getting them to aline with the finger groove and making sure all the facets meet up and are symetrical. I learned a lot and really pushed my machine as far as I could! A good bit of history that be yours.
Both blades are hand forged from high carbon steel. The large one has a full S-Grind for smooth slicing. The handle material is canvas phenolic resin (sometimes called micarta or G10) its a very durable material and will last a long time. The pins are stainless steel.
